Said Benrahma: what’s your verdict?
Undoubtedly talented, but didn’t quite have the impact. I’m a fan still.

Now the season is over, what is the judgement?

Questions
- What are his strengths?
- Where can he improve?
- Will he eventually come good or end up Moyes £25m turkey?

Will come good next season.

Re: Said Benrahma: what’s your verdict?
My issues are decision making and final ball. I think there is a worthwhile player there though and he deserves a second year.

Re: Said Benrahma: what’s your verdict?
Clearly has talent, was disappointing this season but will do better with players more intelligent than Antonio and Bowen ahead of him. Seemed to get chances when he wasn't in form and then when he was in form he either got hooked or wasn't started, which was odd.

Think he'll be better next season.

I’m the Europe’s league where is bound to get a shed load is space could be the making of him

Re: Said Benrahma: what’s your verdict?
Our most gifted player on the ball.

Now he's got the monkey off his back scoring his first goal, I expect him to come good next season.

Hasn't helped he's been in and out the team either. If we get him on the ball as much as possible we'll create and he'll score more.

Re: Said Benrahma: what’s your verdict?
I thought the transfer was unneeded at a time we were desperately crying out for another left back, another central midfielder and another striker which we're still short of a year later.

I'd keep him for next season and hope he can find some of the form he was in during his time at Brentford as he's undoubtedly a good player.

Re: Said Benrahma: what’s your verdict?
Plus points

- Glides past players
- Creates chances
- one of highest in league for chances created for minutes played

Negatives

- decision making at times
- needs to add more goals

No doubt though we have a player on our hands, expecting him to keep improving next season and be a handful in the Europa

Re: Said Benrahma: what’s your verdict?
Definitely worth persisting with... not sure if Moyes doesn't rate him or just giving him time.

I'm confident that he will do well next season but needs to be given a good run in the team.

Re: Said Benrahma: what’s your verdict?
Oh and another negative is Moyes always dragging him off....sometimes when others are playing worse around the 65-70 minute mark. He needs 90's under his belt to blossom more

Does seem like Moyes has a chip on his shoulder over him with always subbing him and the interviews about him

Re: Said Benrahma: what’s your verdict?
Does anyone else feel that it was a blatant Sulli Special Signing as well?

It would make sense seeing as Moyes has been reluctant to play him. Other signings Moyes has made have had more time in the team than he has.

Re: Said Benrahma: what’s your verdict?
100% he wasn't Moyes choice of player.

Then again, Moyes disliked Fornals initially.

Neutral 1st season, worth sticking with.

Undoubted balls skills.
Good energy
Good attitude

Needs to improve on
Decision making

Yeah remember the circus when signing him, heart defects deal off price slashed etc...

stunk of the porn dwarf

does feel like he is pissing in the wind a bit with Moyes.....with the fans backing him.....well apart from that fist COYI

Re: Said Benrahma: what’s your verdict?
His decision making is terrible but it's partly a confidence thing. He makes a couple of bad decisions and then tries to make up for it and tries to force things and it snowballs.

He clearly has great ability, just needs to make much better decisions and with coaching he should be able to do that.

Time will Tell, A work in progress.
He certainly has a lot of talent, question is whether he can deliver in the PL

Re: Said Benrahma: what’s your verdict?
Whilst he hasnt got as many goals as he would like, he is statistically our most creative player behind Lingard, coming second in both goals created and opportunities created (per 90 mins). Impressive given the fact he has struggled to hold down a place in the side. With Europe coming up I think we would be crazy not to want to keep hold of him, European football is prefect for him.

Re: Said Benrahma: what’s your verdict?
Think he’s good enough for the PL, question is more whether he’s good enough for us now. A somewhat disappointing start for us but then many would have said the same about Fornals a year ago. Not helped by the fact we probably overpaid for him and Eze was the preferred choice of many. But now with talk of Eze needing two years to recover completely from his achilles injury it just goes to show how fickle football can be.

Re: Said Benrahma: what’s your verdict?
Good ability. Very skilful and excellent with dead ball situations. Hard working with a good attitude. Hasn't appeared to have reacted negatively to being subbed and Moyes critical feedback.

Potentially could be one of our most important players over the next few seasons.

I look at someone like Mahrez and see the time it took for him to really make an impact at Man City. Now he is key to their success. Not comparing them as players just that they play similar role and how hard it is to find your place.

My criticism is that as a player wish such talent I think he needs to be more direct and shoot more. Needs to influence games much more directly and more consistently.

As someone else said I think he will suit European football and hopefully he has a good rest in the summer and then comes back raring to go and ready to learn.

He can be a hell of a player. He needs to find his place and then hold it down by way of solid, consistent performances.

Getting better as he gets used to new league and new club. Very few settle straight away.

Re: Said Benrahma: what’s your verdict?
He should play ahead of Bowen for me. Both good players, but Benny edges it.
